Barton Legal Dales 50 2026

The Dales 50 is an annual charity cycling event that invites riders of all levels to enjoy a scenic 50-mile route through the Yorkshire countryside while raising funds for Bradford District and Craven Mind, a local mental health charity. The 2026 ride is scheduled for Friday, 15 May 2026, offering a rewarding day on the bike with a strong community focus.

Starting and finishing at North Bar Social in Otley, participants can arrive in the morning for breakfast and coffee before setting off together. The route heads north to Harrogate for a mid-ride stop with snacks and refreshments, before guiding riders back to Otley for a celebratory finish. Each entry typically includes breakfast, lunch, coffee, refreshments, and a limited-edition goody bag.

All proceeds from the event support Bradford District and Craven Mind, helping fund vital services such as crisis support, counselling, education workshops, and community programs that promote better mental health throughout the region. By taking part, cyclists help raise both awareness and resources for mental health support in local communities.

Whether riding solo or as part of a team, the Dales 50 offers a fulfilling day of cycling through classic Yorkshire landscapes, combining fresh air, camaraderie, and a great cause.
