Our next feature bike at Chevin Cycles is a special one. The new Madone Gen 8 is the best of both worlds. Trek has combined the lightness of the Emonda and the speed of the Madone to create one hell of a bike. It looks even better in this stunning, project one colourway.
A new one-piece bar/stem is lighter (less parts mean less weight), more aerodynamic and more ergonomic than the previous version. Plus, the hoods are 3 cm narrower than the drops so you can adjust your positioning to prioritize aerodynamics (in the hoods) or power (in the drops). The choice is yours. All these changes make the Madone faster, lighter, and more ergonomic for you.
Trek refined their race-focused comfort tech to be lighter and have nearly double the vertical compliance, this means that the bike is 80% more vertically compliant than the last Madone which gives you the ability to ride stronger for longer. This means that because the frame is more compliant, it flexes over bumps to provide a smoother ride. Furthermore, the new design is lighter than the Gen 7 with the addition of being more aero. Plus it looks cool.
The Project One customised bike programme lets you make your dream bike a reality with cutting-edge components, a seemingly endless palette of exquisite colours and ultra-premium paint schemes created by the best designers in the industry.

Included RSL Aero Bottles and Cages were specifically designed along with the whole rider system to help make the Madone even faster. Because the bottles are designed for the bike you do not have to worry about them falling out or getting in your way. Furthermore, Trek has designed them to be in aerodynamic synergy with the rest of the bike to save you tenths on the race track.
